De Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600 XT, Xtreme GPU is een kleine investering qua aanschaf, maar is zeer grote stap als het gaat om prestaties en kracht voor uw AGP systeem, dat is de hardline waarmee deze kaart destijds is gelanceerd als 1 van de krachtigste grafische kaarten uit de mainstream series van de Radeon 9000 series. De Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600 XT =Xtreme en doet ook zijn naam eer aan en heeft vele awards en aanbevelingen gehad van overclockers, hardware forums en Gamers specialisten. De kaart was destijds ongeëvenaard voor gamers die aan een budget zijn gebonden waren en de kaart gold ook als een echte overklokkers kanon !! Zelfs fabriek af zonder enige aanpassingen/ tweaks zijn de prestaties zeer hoog als men de de videokaart wilt gebruiken voor een Home Theater functie, Online Gaming en Classic Gaming videokaart
Natuurlijk kan deze kaart zich niet meten met de huidige grafische Gamers kaarten, maar het is een voorbeeld hoe deze mainstream kaart gebruikt kan worden. De 9600 series was al geschikt voor Windows 7 en Windows 8.1 en nu dus ook Windows 10, vandaar deze 9600 Xtreme variant alleen maar extra meerwaarde kan geven.

De 9600XT is de opgevoerde fabriek-af opgevoerd versie met een standaard kloksnelheid van meer dan 500 MHz, daarnaast is de potentie van GPU nog hoger zodat men kan rekenen op snelheden ver boven de 600 MHz bij softmod (softwareTool) en hardmodificatie kan dit nog een met tientallen Megahertz worden opgevoerd

De Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600XT heeft alleen maar positieve reviews, beoordelingen en tientallen awards ontvangen Daarom wordt deze videokaart en andere merken met de Radeon 9600XT GPU genoemd als 1 van de beste mainstream GPU's van die generatie.

Ook is deze uitvoering uitgerust met de 128-bit memory bus waardoor met deze snelle GPU een razendsnelle gegevens uitwissling tusen processor en geheugen mogelijk is. Ook is de videokaart voorzien van razendsnelle Samsung 3.3ns geheugen chips voorzien van bescheiden 128MB DDR maar dan wel met razendsnelle memory bus 128-bit kan werken een geheugen snelheden van 600MHz ~ 700MHz (300 MHz DDR) te behalen.

Deze Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600XT is ideaal voor de tweede PC, waarbij men met deze videokaart gerust Games kan spelen als Halflife 2, Doom 3, Crysis, Left 4 Dead 2, Call of Duty 1/2/3/, maar zelfs met lagere settings is Call of Duty 4 speelbaar op lagere resoluties 1024 x768, 800 x 600 zonder enige overdrive aanpassingen.

Deze kaart kan voor een AGP systeem een zeer degelijk upgrade zijn als U gebruik wilt maken van Windows 10, Windows 8.1 of Windows 7 en ook de grafische capaciteiten voor multimedia wilt uitbreiden want deze 9600XT kan zeker meer aan dan alleen kantoortaken.

Overclocking / Voltage Modding is the most discussed subject regarding the 9600XT graphic card and this card reaches bizarre speeds !!
