Upgrade model S equipment: wheels and tires, oil cooler, brake system, motor cover red, exhaust system, hydraulic chain tensioner, rear torsion bar, headlights.
From 1993 to 1997 it was fully restored in the USA by the second owner who owned it since 1974.
Complete disassembly, recovery bodywork, complete sandblasting, epoxy primer, painting Polo Red.
Complete makeover of the engine with original Mahle pistons and cylinder, new gearbox 5 speed.
Replacement of almost all the details: electrical wiring, heating system, Recaro leather seats, carpeted interior and luggage compartment, Fuchs wheels, restoration steering wheel, headlights and taillights, all rubber seals, mounting additional oil cooler version S, brake system version S, Stainless steel exhaust system and heat exchanger.
