This Limited Edition 180g LP DVD w/Multiple High Resolution Audio Tracks 26Track DVD. Contains the Full Album Including Previously Unreleased 2003 Ken Scott Mixes in 24bit/48kHz Audio 51 DTS and LPCM 24 bit/48kHz Stereo.

Definitive reissue on vinyl by the original recording producer Ken Scott and remastered 100% analog by original engineer Ray Staff from the Original Analog Master Tapes at AIR Mastering Studios in the UK. This limited edition audiophile reissue gives Ziggy Stardust a new life with stunning resolution, fast transiet response, wide sound stage and extended frequency range.

This as close as you'll ever get to the Original Analog Master Tape, there is transparency and immediacy in this remaster that was never available before on any format. This is one of the best reissues released in the last 10 years, with a great gatefold cover and artwork, amazing sound quality expertly produced to the highest audiophile standards, and extra content on high resolution digital audio.

Heres the edition of Ziggy Stardust everyone has been waiting for since David Bowie executed the character onstage nearly 40 years ago.
Originally released through RCA Victor on June 6 1972, Ziggy Stardust was Bowies fifth album coproduced by Bowie and Ken Scott. It was recorded at Trident Studios London between November 8 1971 and February 4 1972 with Mick Ronson guitar/piano/backing vocals/string arrangements, Trevor Bolder bass Mick Woodmansey drums and Rick Wakeman keyboards. As well as performing vocals Bowie also played acoustic guitar saxophone and harpsichord and was involved in the arrangements.

The album eventually peaked at 5 on the UK Album Chart on July 22nd, having entered the chart at 15 on July 1st Its influence is immeasurable as it converted legions of fans becoming the zeitgeist and a major influence on the next generation particularly to those involved in the punk movement ie the musicians artists designers and factored into the subsequent rebirth of rock and pop Famously Bowie killed Ziggy at his peak at Londons Hammersmith Odeon on July 3rd 1973 Pop music was never the same again.
